Calvin Tiggle

From the moment he arrived in the CFL in 1994, Calvin Tiggle established himself as one of the league’s premier linebackers. The Georgia Tech product began his career with Toronto, where he made an immediate impact as a rookie, earning his first All-CFL honour. After four standout seasons with Hamilton, earning a Grey Cup Championship and the Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award, Tiggle returned to Toronto to finish his career. A true tackling machine, he recorded 680 career tackles, 9 interceptions, 10 sacks, and 3 defensive return touchdowns. His dominant 2000 campaign with the Toronto Argonauts earned him his 15-tackle performance remains one of the top single-game defensive efforts in franchise history. Three-time All-CFL and four-time divisional All-CFL, Calvin Tiggle’s career was defined by toughness, consistency, and a relentless ability to find the football.
