Brandon Banks

Nicknamed “Speedy B,” Brandon Banks was one of the most electrifying players the CFL has ever seen. The Kansas State product played 127 games over nine seasons, spending most of his tenure with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats before winning a Grey Cup Championship with Toronto in 2022 to cap his career. A dynamic receiver and kick returner, Banks totaled 14,408 all-purpose yards and 67 touchdowns, including 13 on kick returns. In 2019, he earned the Most Outstanding Player Award after leading the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches. He was also named Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2015. Banks holds the CFL record with five missed field goal return touchdowns and owns the Tiger-Cats’ franchise records for punt return yards, kick return yards, and kick return touchdowns. He was four-time All-CFL and six-time divisional All-CFL. Brandon Banks’ game-breaking ability earned him a place in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
