Larry Haylor

Larry Haylor started his coaching career with the University of Saskatchewan in 1971 and finished in 1973.
Haylor became the Head Coach in 1984 of the Western Mustangs. From 1984, Haylor posted a winning record for every season he was at Western. During the 1994 season, Haylor posted a perfect season by going 7-0 in the OUA. Haylor posted win number 120 on October 3, 1998, surpassing Western Legend John P. Metras who coached the Mustangs from 1940 until 1969. On September 6, 2003, Haylor became the CIS all-time wins leader with his 154th win.
Upon his retirement in 2006, he had compiled a 178-43-4 record in collegiate football. In 2007, the Larry Haylor recruitment Scholarship Fund was created in his honour, with over $250,000 committed from a number of donors. In 2009, Haylor joined the University Of Western Ontario Wall Of Champions.
