Charles Roberts

Charles Roberts joined the CFL in 2001, when he signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. During his time with Winnipeg, Roberts played a total of 131 regular season games, and nine playoff games (two of them are Grey Cup games). Roberts is seventh in the Blue Bombers all-time most touchdowns in a game list with four. He is sixth all-time on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers leading scorer, most points scored in a single game and most touchdowns in a season list with 474 points, 24 points, and 16 touchdowns. Roberts is fourth on the Blue Bombers all-time most rushing touchdowns in a game with four. Roberts is third on the Blue Bombers all-time most rushing attempts in a single season with 303, and most rushing yards in a season with 1,624 yards. He is second on the Blue Bombers all-time career touchdowns list with 79 and second all-time on the Blue Bombers list most rushing attempts in a game list with 32. Roberts is first on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers all-time list in the following categories; most rushing yards in a career with 9, 987, most 1,000 rushing yards in a career with 6, most 100 rushing yard games in a career with 37, most rushing attempts in a career with 1,853, and most rushing touchdowns in a career with 64.
Roberts also has numerous CFL records, he is fourth all-time on the most 1,000 yard rushing seasons with 6, third all-time on the most 100 yard rushing games in a career with 38. Upon retirement in 2008, Charles Roberts had 1,918 carries, 10,285 yards for an average 5.4 yards, 69 touchdowns and 3,396 receiving yards.
